Refugee & Asylum Seeker Support
We will work with young people from a wide range of backgrounds, and we will endeavour to provide a service that is culturally sensitive and considers young people’s backgrounds and individual circumstances.
Young people’s identity and culture will be valued, respected, and celebrated. At Family Circles our young people will benefit from the following areas of support:
- Registering with the Local GP, Dentist, and Optician.
- Support with shopping, food preparation and managing a household and all aspects of daily living.
- Support in managing and attending appointments in the community and with professionals.
- Support to access education, employment, or training.
- Support with accessing information about leisure opportunities available to them in the local area.
- Support with managing any benefits, applications and managing finances and budgeting.
- Support with understanding and accessing opportunities to be able to make a positive contribution.
- Support in learning how to keep themselves safe in the community and their own home.
